Relaxation I work to help people reduce stress through techniques such as breathing, centering, and grounding. This often helps people to get more in touch with their feelings and to lower anxiety.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness techniques may help one to know oneself and to stay true to oneself in relationship to others. They also may help a person to relax develop increased emotional awareness.
Guided Imagery
Some people find it helpful to imagine a relaxing place or a healing journey with the therapist gentle guidance as a way of reducing stress or learning more about oneself.
Cognitive Therapy
Cognitive therapy techniques can help to change patterns of negative thinking or negative beliefs. Often we are not even fully aware of these patterns. Understanding and changing them can improve one’s mood, make relationships go more smoothly, and help one to achieve one’s full potential.
